Hill Meadow Questionnaire
(examples only)
Coleshill Parish Council (CPC) have recently been advised that the play equipment at the Hill Meadow Playground is coming to its end of life. Title to the Hill Meadow Playground was originally granted to The Chiltern Hundreds, now Paradigm, on the strict understanding it would remain a playground for children in perpetuity.
The land and responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the play area was devolved to Coleshill Parish Council in the 1980s. Consequently, the current Council has the responsibility to maintain the space as a children’s playground. With this understanding, we are seeking funding from Government backed projects, to replace the equipment and keep this amenity open for the villagers. With Coleshill luckily having the Jack Adams Field play equipment, the view is to keep the Hill Meadow site for children between the ages of 2-7yrs of age. We have heard from regular users of the playground, but the Parish Council would also really like input from all the villagers to ensure we retain, create, and deliver a valuable village resource.
Please complete the following questionnaire to help us make the best use of the space and secure funding to keep this site open.
Don’t put it off, do it now! We have to collate and hand in all responses by 31st May 2024 to be able to put in application for funding.
If successful with a bid the Council were planning to install Swings, a Multi-Play climber & Springers but what equipment would you like to see used for under 7`s. This will allow us to target the equipment.
Can you tell us about your enjoyable experiences at Hill Meadow and why it is important to keep this village amenity open?
