The recent training on the use of the defibrillator (located outside the Village Hall) was excellent, explaining to us how and when it might be used and teaching us how to use chest compression on an unresponsive, non-breathing person until the emergency services arrive and/or until the defibrillator is at hand.

It’s important for everyone in the village to realise that the defibrillator can be removed and transported to the place where it’s needed. The emergency services will give you the unlocking code when you call them to report the circumstances and seek their assistance.
