News - Autumn 2015

Thank you to everybody who entered into or helped with this year’s show. There were some wonderful flowers and great entries in the baking, crafts and photography sections, and our young villagers did really well in many of the classes.

The Cup Winners are listed below and by now the winners should have received their cups (or will shortly be doing so!).

Congratulations to all of them for their efforts and success.

As you will read elsewhere, the Village Festival will be suspended next year to allow efforts to be focussed on the Queen’s Birthday celebrations in June. This will mean a suspension of the Show as well, but we look forward to unveiling a revamped version for 2017, which will take into account the fact that the Show now takes place much earlier in the summer than it used to.
